I've never seen anythink like this on NG
This is a make it your self kind of thing which is why I gave everything 10. Since you can make your game as stylish or as funny or as violent as you want. This is definitley going on my favorites!!! I could just make platformers for hours. LOL!
Good job

You hit the nail right on the head!...
This episode had everything I love about the Eddsworld series: the clever, yet at the same time silly and ridiculous, style of humor; the originality and charm of the characters; and a short but satisfying little story. This obviously wasn't anything groundbreaking or unprecedented, but it was purely Eddsworld. :D
Zanta Claws is one of my favorite Eddsworld episodes, and you did an awesome job with the sequel. Despite being a sequel, this episode actually felt pretty fresh, and that was great for me cause (in my opinion) I kinda felt like the last few episodes were starting to get a bit stale. You know, as in more cliche jokes, uninspired stories, etc..but I think you did great with this one; this was kind of like a revival episode for me. There was tons of great stuff and some awesome little moments that were so funny and out there. Exploding Christmas carolers, the "Z gear," Edd and Tom's faces while the car is flying, the planes stacked up at the airport, the line: "Well, I hope you kept the the receipt!," ...that was all such crazy stuff. I laughed at pretty much all of it.
I've always loved this series becuase its pretty rare to see an original series like this come along (amongst the endless sea of videogame parodies and flash tributes that fill this site) with its own original characters and unique kind of style and charm. Not to mention a series that's been around as long as it has and still manages to come out with some fresh ideas. This might not qualify in the "raising the bar" category, but I'm giving this movie a 10/10. I'm not judging this as a newgrounds flash but as an Eddsworld episode, and as far as Eddsworld episodes go, this one was pretty much perfect. This was definitely the best Eddsworld episode I've seen in a while.
I'm glad to see you're still having fresh ideas...
Keep it up!!!
sincerely,

Nice job, but I felt like it could've been better
I've been a fan of the Eddsworld series for a while now, and the main reason I've enjoyed the series so much was because of its originality. You've got your own set of characters, your own original jokes, and your own style of animation. These things make this series different from everything else out there, and I really respect that. Even though this movie wasn't my favorite in the series, I still think you've got something great here. The thing this movie didn't seem to have that some of your others had was that sense of cleverness and originality in the humor. I could kind of compare this movie to watching a Saturday morning cartoon. I just seemed like the characters were progressing through the story with a few mildly funny jokes thrown in to keep the viewers from getting bored. It almost felt a little stale to me. Now don't get me wrong! I didn't hate the movie. I just felt like you've done better in the past. Personally I think your funniest movie was "Spares". That's the movie that really got me hooked into the Eddsworld series in the first place. Don't worry, I'm not gonna change my opinion of you because of one movie. I still think the Eddsworld series is awesome, and I look forward to the next episode.

Incredible!!!
This movie completely exceeded my expectations! The animation was incredible for a sprite movie, the voice acting was much better than in the previous episodes, the music set the tone of the movie perfectly, and the story was taken to a much deeper level. I personally think this movie pushes sprite animation to a whole new level. Great job!
I can't understand how so many people complained about the ending. I was pretty impressed with the ending, especially considering that this series never really had much story to begin with, so I don't understand where these expectations came from.
(A MESSAGE TO THOSE WHO HATED THE ENDING)
To those of you who were disappointed in the ending, you're entitled to your opinion, but you have to take a few things into consideration before being so quick to judge. Daniel Sun is just an ordinary person like you or me. He's not some fancy Hollywood scriptwriter, he's not a paid professional, and he's not surrounded by a group of professionals to help him finish the movie. He's just one person with a passion for animation who sacrificed a lot of his free time to put this movie together (as are most of the animators on Newgrounds). The problem with some of you is that you get your expectations so high in anticipation for the "perfect ending" that you seem to forget this. So before you complain just keep this in mind. Don't get your expectations so high or else you're going to be disappointed! If you go back to the previous 3 episodes you'll realize that there was never much of a plot line to start with, so don't expect the storyline of the final episode to be absolutely flawless...
I'm also ANGRY with the people who hated the ending, and then wrote how they thought it should've been done! :( Just because it's not the ending you wanted doesn't mean it's a bad ending!!! If you have a problem with the ending then explain what you didn't like about it, but don't give the movie a 1 just because you think your way is better! Remember it's Daniel's movie, not yours.
I'm not telling you that you have to like the movie, but I don't want people getting so picky with the ending that they base their entire review on that and overlook all of the other things about the movie such as the animation, music, voice acting, etc...
A MESSAGE TO DANIEL SUN
This movie was absolutely fantastic! I've always been impressed with the Power Star series because of how it pushes sprite animation to its limits. Every episode of the series was always a jaw dropping experience, but I never saw this one coming. I have to say, I enjoyed every moment of this movie from beginning to end. I was just expecting another fast-paced fighting flash, but I couldn't believe how deep a level you took this one to. This took me by surprise. I loved how you upped the level of violence to show the extent of Demonic Mario's brutality (especially with the way he ruthlessly slaughtered peach). I also thought that Demonic Mario's monologues were a really nice touch. The final fight scene was animated beautifully and could not have felt any more epic especially with the song you used during the fight (which fit the tone of the battle perfectly). I could probably go on forever "nerding out" over all the things I liked about the movie, but I'll save you the time and just finish up my incredibly long review...
You're probably wondering why I'd waste so much of my time on just one review. Well, I think this movie is worth it. It's been a really long time since I've seen a flash movie that I enjoyed this much...a flash movie that I've been able to watch over 15 times and still enjoy every minute of it! Thank you for finally making that movie. Even though everyone doesn't share my point of view, just know that there's at least1 fan out there who thinks your movie is worth every word of this review. Great job, Daniel. Power Star is an awesome series and you're an even more awesome animator! Good luck with whatever projects you have lined up for the future. :D
holy crap. I think this is the longest review I've received. Which is good!
Indeed there are a few people who dislike the ending, there inst much I can do about it though :(. I started Power Star was I as 15, and I used it as a way to raise the bar of sprite animation. When making Power Star 4, I wanted to put my story development skills to the test. It makes me happy to know that you've enjoyed it. Though this will be my last sprite movie, I have lots of movies and games coming out XD
